Join this fun and creative 2 hour pottery workshop designed for 3 people, perfect for friends or family members looking to enjoy a hands-on experience together in a relaxed home studio setting. This workshop is for adults or for ages 10-15y provided they are accompanied by a participating adult. This session combines both wheel throwing and handbuilding, giving you the chance to explore different ways of working with clay. As there is only one wheel in the studio, you will take turns on the wheel while the others work on handbuilding, then rotate throughout the session so you all get time to experience each process. On the wheel, you’ll be guided through the basics of throwing simple forms, while handbuilding you will explore techniques such as: pinch, coil, and slab. This is a light-hearted, enjoyable session designed to be shared- perfect for trying something new together. Each piece you make will be fired, and glazed in a glaze colour of your choice. Your work will typically be ready within 3–6 weeks. Once complete, you can either: *Arrange a collection date and time, or *Pay for shipping on the day, and your pieces will be sent directly to you. Tea and coffee are provided during the session. You’re welcome to bring food and drink, provided it is packaged or in a lidded container. Short nails are recommended for working with clay comfortably & long hair to be tied back for Wheel Throwing. This workshop is designed for all abilities! No pottery experience required. Parking info The studio is located in a residential area, so there is no dedicated parking on-site. Please allow time to find suitable parking nearby before your workshop. Parking is available on surrounding residential streets, but availability may vary depending on the time of day. If there are no suitable dates available or the workshop is fully booked, you can also enquire about a private session. These are flexible, bespoke workshops where I can tailor the experience to your preferred date, time, and group size (up to 3 participants). *1x booking = for 3 people
