Join this fun, creative 2-hour 1-1 handbuilding workshop, designed for a fully personalised pottery experience in a supportive home studio setting. This solo session allows you to work at your own pace with dedicated guidance throughout. This workshop is suitable for adults only. You’re welcome to come with ideas or be inspired on the day - I provide a selection of sample pieces for inspiration. During this session, you’ll explore traditional handbuilding techniques including pinch, coil, and slab building, with more time and support available to develop larger or more detailed and complex forms due to the one-to-one setting. You will be given a larger amount of clay than group sessions, giving you more freedom to experiment and create multiple pieces or a more developed final piece. Each piece you make will be fired, and glazed in a glaze of your choice. Your work will typically be ready within 3–6 weeks. Once complete, you can either: *Arrange a collection date and time, or *Pay for shipping on the day, and your pieces will be sent directly to you. Tea and coffee are provided during the session. What to wear / bring Aprons are provided, but please wear clothes you don’t mind getting messy. Short nails are recommended for working with clay comfortably. A friendly, creative session designed for all abilities! No pottery experience required. Parking info The studio is located in a residential area, so there is no dedicated parking on-site. Please allow time to find suitable parking nearby before your workshop. Parking is available on surrounding residential streets, but availability may vary depending on the time of day. If there are no suitable dates available or the workshop is fully booked, you can also enquire about a private session. These are flexible, bespoke workshops where I can tailor the experience to your preferred date, time, and group size (up to 3 participants).
